Our Commitment

The Blair County Convention Center is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to all visitors, including individuals who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technologies.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard adopted by the U.S. Department of Justice for state and local government websites under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Accessibility Measures

Measures we have taken include:

• Consistent heading structure on every page, with a “Skip to main content” link;
• Text descriptions for meaningful images, with decorative images hidden from screen readers;
• Visible labels and clear status messages on all forms;
• Full keyboard operability and support for reduced-motion settings;
• Color contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AA requirements, and layouts that adapt to mobile devices and zoom; and
• Room dimensions and capacities published as text on our Spaces page.

Known Limitations

Certain documents, including floor plans and older PDF files in our newsletter archive, may not be fully accessible. Any document is available in an alternative format upon request.
