As interest in data center development continues to grow across Pennsylvania, Reps. Andrea Verobish and Scott Barger are inviting residents to attend a free informational meeting on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Blair County Convention Center. 

The presentation will focus on the state's preparation for the projected influx of data centers, with special attention to their electricity needs and the potential impact on the regional power grid. Following the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions. 

Those planning to attend in person are asked to RSVP by Sept. 18 through the Events page on either representative’s website. The RSVP form also allows participants to submit questions in advance. 

The meeting will be livestreamed at RepBarger.com and RepVerobish.com, barring technical difficulties.
